Jordan Hall - Colorguard Caption Head


Beginning at age 14, Colorguard has been a huge part of Jordan's life. Jordan began her Colorguard career in6 when she joined the South Forsyth Colorguard. She performed with  both the fall and winter programs at SFHS all four years of high school until she graduated in 2010. She then went on to perform with the Million Dollar Band at the University of Alabama. Roll Tide! In the winter of 2011 she performed with Alta Marea winterguard where she had her first WGI finals experience. In the winter of 2012 Jordan joined Paramount Winterguard, and Independent World class group out of Atlanta. Joining a world class winterguard has allowed her to grow as a teacher and as a performer. She continues her colorguard career performing with Paramount winterguard. Jordan currently attends the University of North Georgia where she is studying early childhood education. She enjoys Alabama football, going to the beach, and spinning of course!



Currently, Allen is the Director of Percussion for South Forsyth High School in Cumming, GA, where he teaches and arranges music for the Marching Band and Indoor Drumline. He also works with the Percussion Ensemble, Concert Bands, and Jazz Band in addition to teaching private lessons. As an arranger, Allen has worked for several high school music programs in Florida, Georgia, and Ohio including Olentangy Liberty, Westerville North, Centerville, Grove City,  Leon, Campbell, and South Forsyth High School. Allen has also composed original music for WGI at the independent and high school level. He has served as an instructor and bass technician for the Florida State University drumline, “Big 8,” from 2011 to 2013. 

Allen serves on the percussion instructional staff of the Bluecoats. Allen has a distinguished performance background. He played marimba and was the front ensemble section leader for The Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps from 2002 to 2004 and for Rhythm X from 2003 to 2006. In addition, he traveled to Europe with Rhythm X in 2007, where he served as a performance technician and gave master classes to high school musicians.

Steven Keith - Flute Instructor


 Steven Keith received the Bachelor of Music from Jacksonville State University and the Master of Music in Flute Performance from Georgia State University. His primary teachers include Mrs. Sarah Ambrose, Dr. Deanna Little, Mrs. Kelly Crotts, Dr. Jeyrll Davis and Mrs. Sherry Burt. He has performed in master classes for Ian Clarke, Eva Amsler, Holly Hoffman, Jill Felber and Alexa Still. Mr. Keith has taught both high school and college band camps, clinics and private lessons throughout the southeast United States. He has performed concertos and solos with the Jacksonville State University wind ensemble and orchestra as a college freshman and he has strong interest in the classical grand concerto genre. Mr Keith is an active performer and teacher and is a member of the neo- soul band Soundlight. He has premieres new compositions such as Tom McIntire (Poem, 2008) Amy Leventhal (A Feather in Her Cap, 2012) and Will May (Singing to the Clouds, 2013). 

Patrick Hinton - Brass Instructor

Patrick Hinton, a native of Alabama, currently resides in Lawrenceville, GA where he enjoys teaching a studio comprised of all brass instruments, Patrick is a founding member of the Beltline Brass Quintet.  The BBQ is currently associated with the Sound Learning Program at Georgia State University, a NEA-funded program that partners the university with community musicians in teaching music within metropolitan Atlanta elementary schools. He received his undergraduate degree from Jacksonville State University, and a Masters of Music in Tuba Performance from the University of Alabama. Patrick has served on the faculty of Mississippi State University as Adjunct Instructor of Tuba and Euphonium.  He has performed with numerous ensembles, including the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, Georgia Brass Band, and the UA Faculty Brass Quintet, among others. Involved in Drum Corps International since 2002, Patrick is currently a brass instructor for The Cavaliers, seven-time DCI World Champions.  He previously served as Low Brass Coordinator for Spirit of Atlanta, where he saw the corps return to being an annual DCI finalist.
